Tawqeet still a Strong Favourite

Spring Racing Carnival Melbourne Cup favourite, Tawqeet has drawn a good barrier for Tuesdays feature race. It will start from gate nine while Victoria Derby winner, Efficient ended with barrier nine.

International hope, Yeats has drawn barrier two for the race that stops a nation while Ice Chariot was the first called up to draw a barrier and funnily enough the connections drew the prized barrier one.

Lloyd Williams would have been happy with Efficient’s barrier draw however it was not so lucky for his other two chances in the race with Zipping drawing barrier twenty while Activation ended with twenty two.

Maybe Better, who gained entry into the race following his narrow win in the SAAB Quality at Flemington on Saturday, drew favourably in stall three.

Japanese raiders Delta Blues and Pop Rock will start alongside each other in the middle of the track drawing eleven and twelve respectively.

Tawqeet remains a 5 dollar favourite for the race, while Yeats is a short chance as well at the five dollar fifty mark. While coming in at third in the betting ranks at seven dollars is Pop Rock and Efficient.
