Latham nominated for IRB Player of the Year
Wallaby fullback Chris Latham has been nominated for the IRB Player of the Year Award, the International Rugby Board has confirmed overnight.
Latham joins Dan Carter (New Zealand), Fourie du Preez (South Africa), Richie McCaw (New Zealand) and Paul O'Connell (Ireland) in the running for Rugby’s highest international honour.
Three other Australian players have also been nominated for awards, which will take place on Sunday 26 November at Glasgow’s historic Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
Brumbies centre Anthony Faingaa and Waratahs scrumhalf Josh Holmes have both been nominated for the Under 19 Player of the Year while Western Force winger Digby Ioane has been nominated for the Under 21 Player of the Year.
