Bulldogs sign up St Kilda assistant
The Western Bulldogs today announced that St Kilda's assistant coach Jason Mifsud has been appointed as a
development coach.
The newly created role of development coach will combine the development of on and off field skills,
specialise in assisting first, second and third year players with their development and focus on the club's
alignment with Werribee Football Club.
Mifsud will be heavily involved in the development of all players on and off the field, including the
instigation and set-up of development programs in areas such as sports science in conjunction with Victoria
University, and computer technology.
"With over 10 years coaching experience, Jason will be a great asset to our club," said Bulldogs' coach
Rodney Eade.
"I have no doubt that our younger players will benefit greatly from working with him and our entire
playing list will gain valuable experience from the initiatives Jason will put in place."
Jason will commence with the club on November 13th.
The Bulldogs have also added another full time assistant to the physical performance area in Luke Meehan
and a full time staff member as a football assistant in Nick Austin to work heavily in the area of
statistical and opposition analysis and IT, focusing heavily on upcoming opponents.
