Sports Reporter for SportsAustralia.com since May 2005, Joel is a young aspiring Sports Journalist/Commentator who one-day hopes to become a well known name in the media industry.

Joel has had plenty of exposure to controversy, with both his opinion articles about Jonothan Hay and Andrew Symonds causing a stir among AFL and Cricket supporters alike.

Apart from writing for SportsAustralia, Joel wrote weekly opinion articles for the Hawthorn Football Club Website in 2005, analysing each game and will continue writing for the site in some capacity in 2006.

He is also about to undertake a writing role with the Trendwest Sydney Kings and LeagueUnlimited.

Joel also has plenty of experience on air, having undertaken the role of Rugby League Tri-Nations Correspondent for SEN 1116AM during 2005. He also reviewed the 2005 Rugby League and Union seasons on SEN.

He also features each and every Sunday on 3SER Casey Radio's show - The Sunday Roast, talking about Rugby League, Rugby Union, Cricket and AFL.

Joel hopes his work with SportsAustralia will take him places in the future, such as an AFL Grand Final commentary box.
