Sebastian Hassett Head Reporter for Sports Australia Media since 2002, Hassett has rapidly risen to prominence in the domestic sporting sphere. His coverage of AFL, soccer, tennis, cricket and weekly columns on SportsAustralia.com have become a 'must-read' for sporting fans across the nation.

He's been a regular on the football scene in Melbourne for many years, but has since branched out to cover Davis Cup Finals, the Australian PGA Tour events, Test and One-Day cricket, the AFL Premiership Season and the Rugby World Cup among a myriad of other sports.

Sebastian has also contributed to organisations such as the BBC, TribalFootball, Crikey, SoccerHut, VirginBlue Magazine, AFL-Telstra Network, Inside Sport, Fairfax and AAP. His work also extends to radio, where he co-hosts one of Australia's best sports shows, Centimetre Perfect on Melbourne's SubFM every Tuesday afternoon while also reporting for SEN 1116 and the BBC World Service.

He's also a dedicated golfer, and is working feverishly to bring his handicap into single figures while not bench-warming for Boroondara Lions Football Club in Victoria's Provisional Soccer League.

Sebastian's dream is to one day cover the World Cup soccer final, and in addition, spend a year covering the English Premier League where he can pursue his self-confessed adoration for Everton and their prodigiously talented Australian star, Tim Cahill.
